1. Keep resumes easy to read, and preferably no longer than two pages.

2. Designers may choose to do two versions of their resume. In all cases, be sure the resumes fax clearly.

a) One resume should show their design ability
b) One resume should be a basic word processing document so it can be searched by words. (Standard type with no graphics.)

3. Be honest. The best jobs for you are those that are right for your abilities. If a professional freelancer, you want repeat business and good references from customers. If looking for a staff job, you want the right match.
